How to Contact Other Members

There may be times when you want to connect with another member of the community. Maybe you met them during a live lesson, interacted with them in a community post, or noticed someone nearby on the Student Map.

Our Student Map allows members to choose whether they want to share their exact location or an approximate location for privacy reasons. Some members may also choose to include their contact information on the map if they are open to being contacted directly.

If a member has included their contact information on the map, you may use that information to reach out to them directly. However, if no contact information is listed, we are not able to share their private contact details unless they have given us permission.

To contact another member through the community:

1. Go to the community page.
2. Click Members in the left sidebar menu.

3. Search for the member’s name in the member list.

4. Click on their profile.
5. Click Direct Message.

From there, you can send them a message directly inside the community. The member should receive an email notification if they have notifications turned on.

Please keep in mind that responding is completely up to the other member. We encourage everyone to be respectful of each other’s privacy and communication preferences.
